Oooh a quick note for you guys. I mentioned a while back that I got approved for a home loan. I did a little looking around. My dad's cousin, who is a realtor, took me "house hunting" on Tuesday and I found a house I love! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home within my price range (which isn't too high since it's just me). And today, I signed the papers to put a bid on it! Hopefully they'll accept it and things go smoothly. I have to do a "rural development" loan since I don't have money built up yet for a down payment. Basically, I can only choose a home outside city limits and there's all these other hoops I have to jump through. There's a few structural things that need fixing, which is no big deal, but if it doesn't pass inspection that might cause issues for me. But fingers crossed! I'll keep you guys updated :)
