My mom had found these chairs at a garage sale for a couple of bucks a while back. We planned to put them outside but wanted to re-cover them first.

So the other day, my mom came home with some GORGEOUS fabric! And she loves me so much she bought extra for me to use on my future home :)

We removed the seats of the chairs and cut a piece of fabric that would cover the chair. It's important when covering something to make sure you have it lined up right!

Then we used a staple gun to secure it.

Then cut off the excess. My mom was trying to make it all nice and neat but I was like, "Mom, really, no one's going to be looking under your chair."

Here's our finished porch! We added a little table, a rug (which doesn't look like it matches but our front door is red and it does have some green and black in it), and a plant.

We're happy with how it turned out... It's so much more inviting!
