Hey Guys!
My name is Tonya

and I blog at Love of Family & Home.
I mostly blog about my DIY projects, home decorating, & crafting adventures.
I would LOVE if you all stopped by & said "Hello!"
I'm so honored to be guest posting here at "Not So Homemade".
A big THANK YOU to Courtney for having me!
I wanted to share one of my projects with you all today!
Mod Podge Photos.....

He is proudly displaying them at his office! :)
I thought it would be fun to show you guys how you can make your own, so that maybe you can use them to give to family this Valentine's Day!
First, I had my dad help me out & build me a couple of boxes....

He just used some 1x2's that I had laying around to construct the frame & then cut a piece of luan to fit on top of it. I wanted the frames to fit an 8x10 photo..
A few more views of the box frame to give you a better idea...

As for the pictures...I had 8x10's made at Walmart ($2.50 a piece), but I didn't want to mod podge the photo paper, so I then took my 8x10's to Staples and had them color copied on cardstock.
Each copy cost me 59 cents....what a deal!!

And this is what I was left with....

Much better!!

They look like canvas prints, but cost a whole lot less!!!
The frame was made out of scrap wood, so I basically only had to pay for the cost of the photo prints!

I hope you all have enjoyed this little tutorial & I hope that I've inspired you to try your hand at some Mod Podge photos of your own!!!

What a simple, fun project. Love the actual photos she used too. Great project.
Hello Courtney, I just want to say a big WOWW for your effort. This is really a simply but effective project. I think you have done this with the help of waste products of households. That is really nice and it will be a great idea for using the waste products and creating nice nice stuffs from it. Thanks for sharing such a lovely idea. Keep it up. :) Orlando Real Estate Agent
